I couldn't resist snapping a few photos Sunday morning before church. William was wearing a white shirt and tie! He just needed a little missionary tag to finish the outfit! haha.. gotta love little boy stuff! He looked so grown up it was killing me! He is so funny now when we ask him to say cheese he does this funny smile that makes him look even more like his daddy!! (the top pic)LOVE HIM!

Weekly Wednesday Update

14 weeks today...
Right when I thought I was starting to feel better... This week I have felt pretty nauseous. Every morning I run to the bathroom in hopes I make it there in time!
One good thing this week was I had a Dr. appointment. It was supposed to be a normal OB visit but my doctor was nice and did an ultra sound to see how things were going. Baby was moving around and kicking! The baby had two arms, two hands, two legs, and a heart beat. (all good things) We didn't get a good picture because it was moving around so much! But it definitely settled some doubts when I saw that little thing moving around in there! It was good to see! My next appointment will be the Monday before thanksgiving.
I hate not knowing what I'm having. I usually find my self referring to the baby as a "he" because I hate saying "it". When I know what we are having it's so much nicer to say "son" or "him" or call him by name. But it seems like I still have forever until I find out what I'm having! oh well, the anticipation will make it that much better! :)

William's 1st Halloween

William's First Halloween!
Our first Trick or Treating of the year started at Skywest. With My Brother working their, one of my sisters working their, and the fact that I used to work for them we go their every year to trick or treat. The kids always have so much fun, and make out with a loot of candy! I was so excited to finally have a child to bring their instead of just helping out all the nieces and nephews.
After Sky West I let William indulge in a few of his treats! Needless to say he liked that part!
I was flying solo all weekend because Brandon has been sick with the flu. He was bummed he couldn't be apart of Williams first Halloween but I took pictures to show him. (and yes he had just had chili and I didn't really clean him up very well so in all his pictures he has a dirty face! oh well :)
Then on Halloween I met up with Ashton and her family (more like invited my self over) and we took out our little ones together.

This was when we were out trick or treating, With Trick or Treat bag in hand! haha... I loved that he would hold it for me!
My little pirate! It was so much fun, He was a trooper all night, happy and content and awake until way late. We went trick or treating, visited friends and made an appearance at my sisters Halloween party and the whole time he was so good! I can't wait for next year! :)

weekly Wednesday Update

I am 13 weeks today, Not much has changed this week. I still have good days and then I have not so good days. Today I've been pretty nauseous, and threw up. But I do think my good days are coming more and more often so that's way good! I haven't been taking my pills as much. I have been trying to make them last and only take them when I REALLY need them.
According to Baby Center.com the baby has gone from the size or a Lime to the size or a medium size shrimp. If you ask me I would consider that a down grade? but what do I know? I do have a doctors appointment this week so hopefully I have a more interesting update for you next week. :)

Walking William

William walks all over now. He walks way more then he crawls, in fact he practically runs. I think he prefers to walk over crawl now. He can get up from the floor with out having to use anything to pull him self up. So while he's walking and if he falls over he just gets right back up and keeps walking. It's so funny to see his little body walking all over the house, I'll go around the corner to look for him and he's walking towards me, it's still so weird to me, I am still getting used to it. He has pretty good balance, the other day he was drinking his sippy while he was walking, and if I'm honest I have a hard time doing that! haha... he can bend over pick something up and then keep on walking. I think I can count it now, I think it's official, my son walks.
I said to him "can you say cheese for mommy" and this is his smile, not bad.

I have been trying to upload a video of William walking/running and I can't do it! I have been trying for a few days! I am finally giving up and I am just posting this with out the video, I'll try to do another one soon! just enjoy the pictures I guess? :)

weekly Wednesday update

I am 12 weeks today, I thought I would start this week with my first weekly update.

So this last week I did an Intelligender Prediction test, has anyone herd of them? you pee in a cup that comes with little crystals in it and your pee either changes green or orange. Mine turned green. According to it I am going to be having a little boy. I wanted to do it to see if it was actually legit? I am totally skeptical and yet curious at the same time.

Intelligender Gender Prediction Test

I will let you all know in a few months when I get my ultrasound if this little thing was right?

So I am still sick. I haven't been as sick with this pregnancy as I was with William. I couldn't leave the radius of the toilets in my house when I was pregnant with William. With this pregnancy I got sick earlier but I haven't been AS sick, don't get me wrong I still do my fair share of throwing up! I just have more good days. I still take my meds and those seem to help some what?

I don't know why I grow a huge belly from the night I conceive but I do! When people notice I'm pregnant they say "oh do you know what your having" and I have to respond with something like oh no, I am not very far a long I just show really early, I'm not due until May, it's almost embarrassing to say I am not due until May, that seems SO far away! haha.. oh well, I just have to get used to it. Believe it or not I haven't gained one pound Ive actually lost some weight since I've been pregnant, that's what I do, my belly gets bigger and bigger but I don't gain any weight for the first trimester at least and then I gain it all in like a month! we will see if this pregnancy does the same thing?

Funny William & big teeth

William cheesin it for me!

I wanted to share his enormous top teeth with you, what is up with them? haha... my friends and family make fun of them so bad! they are SO big! He just got another one on the top and it looks like it is going to be another massive tooth? it cracks me up!
He will stand and play with this kitchen for ever. It's so funny! He puts stuff in the microwave, and in the stove and then takes it out and puts it back in! We have also been "pretending" to eat the food, and I say how yummy it is very dramatically and he copies me, oh yumm.. haha! but he really does put it in his mouth and slobber all over it! we're still working on the "pretend" part.
I pulled out the camera the other day cause I know I have been slackin on taking pictures of him! I had put him in a weired out fit not his normal jeans and polo, and hadn't even done his hair, but oh well, I take what I can get? He's still adorable to me!
him eating one of his little pretend shrimps.
My darling son! I can't get enough of him!

3 years

Brandon and I hit our THREE year mark last week. We had plans to go out to dinner and actually find someone to watch William. We NEVER go out (especially with out William), so we were way excited. Then I got SOOO sick and we didn't end up doing anything! :( We will make up for it and go out some time soon! I can't believe it's been three years, it's gone by so fast and yet so much has changed since then! Thanks Babe for being the best husband and daddy! love you!

11 months

My son turned ELEVEN MONTHS Monday October 5th.

I can hardly believe it, where has the time gone? How did he get so big? When did he get so smart? He kills me with how fast he learns and grows! This last month has been so much fun, well after he broke his top two teeth things were fun. He makes me smile and laugh continuously through out the day. He is so funny. He continues to amaze me and his dad all the time! I love this little guy more and more every day! I am so grateful for his mild temper and his sweet and loving happy spirit! I was truly blessed with this child and know that I probably wont get this lucky again!

In month 10

He waves Hi and Bye all day long, to everything and everybody, even if it's through the phone to a picture in a book or the gardeners doing the lawn out side. it's funny.

He started walking a lot more this past week, he walks down the hall, and from one room to the other. He does really well when he is barefoot, when i put socks or shoes on him he doesn't do as well.

He is talking more and more. He tries to repeat a lot of the things I say. A couple of his more recent words are "mo" for more, and he has said "up" a few times.

We started working on signing, and he has done "more" a few times (even though it's more like clapping?). That's really the only one that he has done, and it's not consistent by any means so we will keep working on it.

He loves his papa, grandma, aunties, and cousins. I will tell him when we are going to visit them where we're going and he gets so excited.

He is a little lover! He gives hugs and kisses to pretty much everyone. He cuddles and hugs, and then pats your back. It's the sweetest thing ever! especially when you aren't expecting it.

He got two more teeth this last month. The top two came in together at the same time, (wasn't the best week!) as soon as they broke through and stopped hurting you were back to your normal happy self! I think it was so bad because it was two at a time. He only has 4 teeth, the top two and the bottom two.

He got another hair cut this last month. I chopped it! He has a short spiky little boys hair cut. It changed the way he looked SOO much! it took me a good two days to get used to it! All his soft baby hair is gone. He is now a big boy!

Speaking of big boy. William has discovered his male parts. All of the sudden he realised there was something "down there". every time his diaper gets changed his hands go down there! (oh you gotta love boys!) He also knows what it's called, if asked where it is he will show you. So smart, such a proud mam! haha

He has become a little monkey! He climbs and climbs on everything. and if there is a box or container he can push over to something to help in his task he will figure it out and use it! The little stinker. I can't help but be impressed with his determination and abilities on the matter though.

I started William on Cows milk about a week ago. I knew I was going to do it early. I need to ween him from the boob and he HATES formula so I thought the taste of real milk would help the process, and it has. He gets nursed in the morning and at night and gets a sippy of milk through out the day. It's been working pretty well for the most part. Some times he still really wants the boob, but hes been getting better.

Sorry no pictures, I haven't been taking very many lately, I will do better and post some soon. LOVE YOU LITTLE WILLIAM! Thanks for being the best 11 month old a mama could ask for!

ultrasound #4

So I just got back from my doctor's appointment. Everything went great! By my last ultrasound I was supposed to be 8w. and 6 days and the baby measured 8w. 5d. So that was way good. My sack has gone to a more "normal" shape. And the "other stuff" is gone, it has been absorbed into my body like the doctor predicted. So that was all REALLY good news. One sack, one baby, The baby was bigger and growing at a normal rate. and the heart beat continues to get stronger, it was 170 bpm. I couldn't be happier! I really appreciate all the prayers that have been said on our behalf, This 5% baby has now turned into a "routine pregnancy". My doctor is shocked, surprised, and SO happy things turned out totally different from what he had originally thought!

I was hoping I would be told today that there were two babies in there and it would explain why I started showing SOOO early and why I am SOOOO big already! oh well... maybe it's because it was two at one point? It's kind of hard to be disappointed with all the great news that I received today! I am just so happy everything looks good!!! thanks again for all your love and support! I will continue to keep everyone updated! And my next appointment is in 4 weeks.

Thursday, September 24

what we've been up too!

I have debated over sharing the news with everyone or not and thought why not, if something does end up happening I have the loving support of all of you!

August 27th (Thursday) I took a positive Pregnancy test!

September 1st- (Tuesday) bleed a little in the morning after taking a brisk walk to and from mom and dad’s house pushing the stroller. (got a little nervous)

September 4- (Friday) that night when I went to the bathroom I had a lot of blood in my underwear, (I probably over did it that day watching Tiffany’s kids all day long) I didn’t have any cramping and was TOTALLY SHOCKED when I saw the blood! (it was Friday night so I couldn't call the dr. office)

September 7th- (Monday) Holiday so I can’t call the doctors office

September 8th -Tuesday, called the Dr. Office, they said they could get me in for un ultrasound with the “on call” Doctor (Dr. Benham) Because my Doctor was out of the office for the week. We had the ultra sound and he said right away that something didn’t look right, and that something was wrong. He saw an irregular shaped sack and nothing in it, no fetus, no yolk sack, nothing. He said this is probably going to be a miss carriage but he wanted to do one more test before he scheduled a D&C. He said he was 95% sure it was going to miscarry. We got my blood taken before we left the office so they could check my HCG levels. We made an appointment to go back in two days.

September 10th Thursday

9:00 AM I went in and got my blood drawn. So they would have something to compare my other levels too. The Doctor told me if they barley go up then I am miscarrying and if they go down then I am obviously miss carrying. And that for a normal pregnancy they should go way up!

4:45 PM- My results appointment. We go in thinking the worst and hoping for the best! The whole two days leading up to this moment have been a complete night mar and I can‘t remember when I have prayed for something SO hard!. I kept telling Brandon if I didn’t see the ultra sound my self I would never have thought anything was wrong. I still was throwing up every day, I was still feeling that pulling feeling where your ligaments are pulling and stretching, and all the normal symptoms of pregnancy. The Doctor looked at my results and said they went up like they should?? He said now this makes me think it may be a “moler Pregnancy”… Which I didn’t know exactly what that was, so when I asked he said he compared it to Cancer, oh well perfect I thought! I said is there any way you could have read the ultra sound wrong, that it could be different… and he said lets take another look! He said he needed to do a few more and then he would try to get us in. We waited a while and then he came back in and said everyone else is done, you are the last ones here so since you had to wait the longest you get the longest ultrasound. He started doing it and noticed my bladder was full.. So I put the little paper sheet they give you around my legs and barefooted ran down the hall to the bathroom, like he said nobody was around the reception area was closed and the lights were turned off. I ran back and he started again. Right away he said Wait a minute we might have something here… I think we have a fetus, I think we might have something. Brandon and I couldn’t believe what we were hearing “WHAT we were going to beat the 5% chance he gave us just two days before!” He said yep we have a fetus, and I think we have a heart beat! He turned on the noise and I couldn’t believe the sound we were hearing!! Music to our ears! He said my sack is still a very irregular shape but things are definitely improving! He moved the wand around and the sack almost looked like it went into two perfectly round separate sacks, he would move it back and it would go into one “irregular shaped sack” I asked could it be two and it’s just playing games with us? He said I don’t know I am not sure, we will have to wait and see. He measured the fetus and I was only measuring 6w. 3d. Not the 8plus I had originally thought. I am nursing William so my periods aren't normal anyway. SO I knew it was an option that I wasn’t as far along as I thought. I also had “something else off to the side of my sack that the doctor thought was some blood? A hemorrhage or something? Brandon asked when the Doctor was done, So what is our % now? The Doctor gave us 50/50. We said we’d take it after hearing 5%! We made another appointment in 5 days for another ultra sound.
September 11th-12th Had some more spotting

September 15th (Tuesday) Ultrasound appointment. I was hoping for some more answers but totally preparing my self for the fact that I may not here anything new? The doctor measured the Fetus it had grown a little and was now measuring 6w. 6d. And the heart beat had gone from 114 BPM last appointment to 137 BPM. So the baby had grown and the heart beat had gotten stronger. There was still that mass of blood off to the side that he still isn’t 100% sure about and there was still what appeared to be another “something” another sack or something. The Doctor thinks that it may have been a baby at some point and is now nothing, he said he doesn’t think it will become anything, I have my own feelings on the matter at what it is? I am still hoping and praying that its’ another baby that is hiding and we just wont see it for a while? I am hoping it will explain why I am showing so huge already! I left the office that day with VERY high hopes! I was SO nervous for so long, it felt good to finally exhale a little. I herd and saw the baby and it was growing. Growing in a very irregular shaped sack but there and growing none the less. The Doctor was very happy with the out come so much that he didn’t think he needed to see me again that week, so we made another ultra sound appointment in 2 weeks.

So I have another ultrasound scheduled for Tuesday September 29th. It will be my 4th ultra sound and I will be 8w. 6d.

mowing the lawn

10 months

William turned 10 months old last Saturday September 5th!

I can't believe how much has happened in 10 months, how fast they learn and grow. He is SO FUN! he amazes me at how smart he gets every day! The other day I was saying to him, "William go get your ball, Go find the ball" and he looked at me like OK mom, and went off and looked through his toys and picked up the ball. I also said, go find spider man, go get mama spider man, he looked at me thought about it, and went off in search of spider man, and totally found him! I thought it was so cute! He totally understands what I say to him, he listens and he is starting to get more and more things. He tries to copy things that we say all the time, the other day I was saying no, no, no to him and he said clear as day no no no. and no says it all the time. (OOPS) haha.. he thinks it's funny when he says something right, it's like it's up in his head and when it finally comes out right hes like yay finally I can say it!

In month 9

He has taken a few consecutive steps in a row. I think his record is 4-5. He has amazing balance and can totally do it, but he just gives up and crawls to where ever he needs to go. He is SO close to just one day taking a few steps and then taking off! I am thinking a couple weeks and he'll be running around the house!

He has started this new screaming thing, it's loud and annoying and I am trying to put a stop to it! what happened to my quite little guy? It just started in the last week or so. I'm hoping it goes away as quickly as it came!

He was doing really well at sleeping through the night but then he'll go through a bad stage, like what he is in right now. It's like he wakes up scared, like he had a bad dream or something? He has been waking up lately because his teeth, his top two teeth are working their way down.

I am still nursing him, he likes the boob, it will be weired when we stop that, which is coming soon. It's been so convenient and helpful, I don't know what I'm going to do with him when we stop?

Still so sweet, He plays really well with his toys, and then comes over to me gives me a love and a big wet kiss and then goes back to playing. I LOVE IT.
He loves when his daddy come home from work, he gets so excited! He crawls his super speedy crawl to get to him and as soon as Brandon picks him up he gives him hugs and pats his back. It is the sweetest thing to witness for a mommy!

He moved to his big boy car seat this last month, he loves it of course and so do I. The main reason I was so worried about switching was the fact that when he falls asleep in the car I can't recline him and he would be uncomfortable and his neck would be in an awkward position. But it's not like that at all. He falls asleep in it and he is totally fine, his head doesn't fall forward or anything. :)

He waves Bye Bye, and Hi. He even tried saying bye bye a couple weeks ago, it was more like ba ba... but it was while he was waving so I figured that's what he was saying.

He gives hi-5's now.

He tries to talk more, I say what does a dog say, and then bark, and then he tries to bark, same with chicken, he does the bak bak bak. it's kind of funny. he says, ball, doggie, ditto's (my parents dog's name) no no no, and "OH" all the time, everything is "ohhh" and "uh oh".

video

He knows what I say when I say NO, "do you want some milk", spider man, ball, cow, clap hands, hi-5, his name, kisses, and he knows some peoples names, like papa and Grandma. He doesn't say all these things just understands what I am saying when I say them.

He is TOO stinking cute! I love this little guy SO MUCH! he brings so much love and joy into our home! Thanks William!

Tuesday, August 25

bath time fun

So William still loves his baths... Brandon was bathing William last night when I herd A LOT of commotion coming from the bathroom!! I thought I better go check this out and see what the damage is... and this is what I found... William splashing it up! Daddy wasn't a big help at containing the water in the tub either! at least they had fun, and William got clean! :)
This is what Brandon gets for encouraging it! He was soaked!

video video

Are we bad parents for laughing at him when he fell over? haha... he was fine! :)

VEGAS

So we had our Stott family vacation! we got home last week, we went from monday to monday, and I am just now starting to unpacked! all of our suitcases sit here in my bedroom. I have had no desire to unpack them. It was A LOT of fun, we needed a vacation so badly! It was really fun to be with family we hadn't been with in a long time and that we don't get to see very often! Of course we did a lot of swimming!

One night we went down town with Brandon's siblings and left the little ones at home with grandma and grandpa. Even though I had anxiety from leaving William, it was way fun, and much needed! This is most of us lining up waiting for the fountain show to start.(from left to right, Steven, Ellie, Corinn, JC, Kevin, and Kelsey)

While we were down town we went to the m&m store, Brandon and I had to take a pic with the m&m. :O) top pic is me and my sis-in-law Kelsey.

We also went to the strip a few other times as well, this was one of our trips we took during the day.

Us at the fountain at the Bellagio.

We went to F.A.O Shwarts (the big toy store) they have two, and one is in Caesars Palace, they had these birds that made all kinds of different calls, and William thought they were so fun! That's what that red fluffy thing is in some of the pictures.

While we were in Vegas we bought William a little umbrella stroller, we didn't own one yet and we needed one, it was very useful! The center pic is of William and Cousin Lillian (she is 6 weeks older then Will) sporting their brand new strollers.

Thanks again to everyone who made it possible... love you all!

William walking?

video

William has started walking with the help of his little walker, It's so fun to see him get better and better, He is TOO CUTE, and I can't believe how BIG my baby has gotten! It happened WAY too fast!

Thursday, August 13

9 months

my son turned nine months old last week, I can't believe how fast time has gone and how big he has gotten, he is no longer a baby, he is a child! he is a BOY. I look at him and see my husband, and a sweet little face and beautiful big dark eyes. I LOVE THIS BOY so much!! He makes me so incredibly happy!

He had his 9 month check up yesterday,

It was Brandon's day off so he got to come too :)

his stats are

Height 29.25 in. 80%

Weight 20lbs. 7.5 oz 55%

Head 46.5 80%

I thought wow his head is 80 % it doesn't even seem that big to me, but the Dr. said his head and height should be the same, so that's good! And to everyone that says he is SO heavy and such a big baby! I want you to check out the 55% I know, I was a little surprised that's all he was too? :)

In month 8...

He got a tooth, can you see it in the picture?

He is trying to say more words

TRYING is the key word, we will repeat a word over and over in front of him and ask him to say it, and he will try, we are working on Ball.

he said "uh oh" a few months back but then didn't say it again for a while, he says it more often now.

He is SO much fun! he still gives me huge wet kisses all the time and I love it!

After only wanting mommy for a while he has started wanting his daddy more... I am happy to share the love!

He is kind of a bully to his friends and babies smaller then him, I don't think he means to be mean on purpose he just gets excited!

He is starting to walk with the assistance of his little walker. It's so cute.

He also gives kisses to his new nieces its really sweet.

He will be switching to a big boy car seat (forward facing ) Dr. Said he was ready! :)

He is so fun, I know there was a lot more things he did this last month but I can't think right now and I am way over due for a post so this will have to do for now!

Friday, July 24

Bailee Jaine

Bailee Jaine was born Wed. at 12:06 AM. weighing in at 7 lbs 7 oz. (I think most of that is in her cheeks!) and 18 1/2 in. long. Brittany has been using my camera at the hospital so I haven't been able to get the pictures up loaded onto my computer yet, so I stole this one from my other sister. Its "the girls" Bailee, Brittany, and Brydee. I can't wait to get my camera back I feel naked with out it! Mom and baby are doing perfect!
As soon as I get my camera back I will give her a proper post.

Thursday, July 23

So, My sister Tiffany went back to work after her maternity leave was up. and I have started watching her 3 kids. (Sidney 1 month, Beckham almost 2. and Corben 4.) I have been busy and haven't had time to post... :(
