SORRY

To the boy I accidentally pummeled with water as I drove through the puddles along bloomington Drive last night!
It was a total accident, I didn't even see you there on the side of the road until it was too late.
I felt soooo bad.
sorry.

Christmas Morning

This was our first Christmas morning with a child old enough to really appreciate Christmas and get excited about "Santa" We woke up and Brandon said "William Santa came last night" and William responds with yeah I saw him I said Hi Santa. hahaha it was funny! so we got up and had Christmas morning with our little family in our room, (at 9:00) and then we went out and joined my parents and then all my siblings came over.  it was my family's year for Christmas this year, we met at my moms at about 10:30-11 and all 12 adults and 8 grandchildren filled the family room and we opened gifts.  It was more chaotic and louder then it has been in the past but still fun!
look at that face, he is really getting into it.
 all helping brother
checking to see who's gift it was, he read it and says "willyum"
opening his magnet writing board. a little excited.. love it!
his first Christmas, not as professional at opening presents as his big brother.
doo dis... love his little swollen face he has when he wakes up in the morning!
William opening his tricycle from me and Brandon. he has LOVED it.  (I picked up the little beauty at DI for 2 whole dollars.) It has 10 different buttons that make noises, a revving engine, a key turning, radio music, you name it.  and they all work.  I meant to spray paint it and make it look good as new but it had been raining here for like weeks! every day I planned on doing it it was raining. but he still loves it!
William got puzzles from my parents.
Brandon and I got a dutch oven, a cooking stove thing, camping chairs and a new mattress topper for our bed! I was soooo happy to see that one!
William got linking-logs from my parents... they have been a big hit. he loves them almost as much as Brandon and I.
Sidney playing with Williams new magnet writing board. ALL the kids (old and young alike) all got great use out of it.
Beckham got a bike from my parents, it was so funny when he opened it and said "oh just what I wanted" loved it!

one of the high lights of the day was one of Andrea's gifts.  My mom came across on of my brothers old soccer pictures. So she wrapped it up for Andrea to open on Christmas.  It is a soccer picture that was turned into a button pin that you could attach to your shirt or bag or something? really who makes button pins out of their pictures in the first place? (I'm guessing it came with his picture package) she opened it and none of us knew it was coming! it was hilarious! haha! we all got a really good laugh, except Jason, he didn't love it. and tried to steal it from Andrea.

After opening gifts we all got in the trailer and visited my grandparents that live a round the corner.

Becks and Lucas are bestest buddies... Lucas was so chill and content while Beckham was holding him.

musical talents

He didn't get it from me... It HAS to be the Stott side.  They are all very talented when it comes to music of all kinds.
The other night william was kind enough to share his talents with us...
He cracks me up.  He has to have his music so he can look off of it and play, and sing, and the last note always has to be drawn out very dramatically. Where has he even seen this before? no one in our house even plays the piano?  haha... it's a very quick video.

this just in...

Golf cart bridge from the SunBrook Golf course has lodged under the new Valley View Dr bridge.  Contractors are moving large equipment in to prepare to remove the Golf Cart bridge at this time.

bringing back any memories?

These were the pictures from the flood in 04 or 05? whenever it was... of my parents back yard... this morning my dad and I went out and surveyed the area... lets just say if the city hadn't put all the work into what they did last time to prevent this from ever happening again it would already be way bad!! but so far it's ok and we aren't filling bags with sand just yet. but by the sound of things, and the look of things we may be soon.

and they said it was a 500 year thing?!?!

this week...

Random Shot; I was trying to get some shots of my S&S Styles bow ties. This is such a Lucas face! squinty eyes, and wrinkling his nose... gotta love this funny kid!

*After teething forever, Lucas' first tooth finally made it's grand entrance this week!
*We sold Brandon's car this week. We are now in the market for a "family" vehicle. I personally want a van, Brandon wants something more stylish. Vans are just SO easy, easy to get the kids in and out of, to fit all your crap in, the gas mileage is better then an SUV and the tires would be cheaper to replace. We are looking, we are both very open and we will find something we both love I am sure. If anyone know of any great deals let me know! :)
*This may be one of those stories that is TMI but you know me, when does that ever stop me? haha, anyway, My milk supply seems to be drying up? and if you know me I nurse A LOT! like a million times a day, and I always have a HUGE surplus of milk! I ALWAYS have to wear nursing pads and could nurse an extra child in between feeding my own, BUT this week they seem to be less full, and even empty? Lucas is pulling and tugging on them and unsatisfied after nursing, they seem to be flat? I am getting worried? I am hoping if I just drink some more water they will come back? I don't know what else it could be and what could be causing it? I am a huge believer on if you nurse as often as you should and don't supplement with formula then your body will make what it needs to? So would there be another reason for it? I don't know I will have to wait and see if something changes/ gets better?
*William had his first sleep over last night. He slept at his Auntie "b's" house. With his cousins. We were having a test run to see if it would work while we were still close by if it didn't work out and we needed to go get him. Because we were thinking of having a little outing in mesquite? and If he freaked out while we were gone we wouldn't be close enough to run and pick him up. It went well. he didn't miss me for more then two seconds before he got over it and went to sleep. He has been starting to get better at that.
*William has gotten better at me leaving him in nursery! FINALLY he has almost been going to nursery for a year and he is just now getting used to it. He now goes with out me having to stay with him the whole time. It's been really nice!

These are just random shots I took of Lucas the other day. Hat is from Treasured By Holly.

What a chub! he has been starting to pack on the fat, every baby does the round phase and then stretch phase over and over, he is going through a round phase! The hat doesn't help flatter his very chubby little face! haha!

lucas, 7 months

I took some pictures of Avary today, they are HERE if you wanna see them.

I snapped a few of Lucas after we were done. He turned 7 months old three days ago. I really can't believe it. I know I say this every month but time just flies by, I can't believe how big he has gotten, and how fast the second baby grows up. It's happening even faster then the first. It freaks me out a little!

In month 6...

Lucas has started talking and being a lot more vocal. He says ba ba ba, da da da, and some times I think he is saying pa pa pa or some form of it? I have yet to here a ma ma ma. Only when he is crying do I sometimes here a faint ma ma... but I can't really count it cause he is just whining.

He also has started this spontaneous scream that he does for fun, he thinks he is hilarious.

He has been working on a tooth the last couple days, it's got a massive bump protruding, and I think it's going to grace us with it's presence soon, but nothing yet.

He loves when he gets sung to especially when his cousin Beckham does it. I was dancing around singing Christmas songs while I was making dinner the other night while Lucas was in his high chair watching me. I'm sure he thought it was the best performance ever given!

He is such a joy! He cuddles and buries his face in your chest like he gets embarrassed.

He has started reaching out for me to take him.

He has learned how to actually jump in the jumperoo instead of just standing there playing with the toys.

He has had RSV and a double ear infection this past month. You wouldn't have even guessed it unless you listened to him breath... hes been such a good baby through it all.
He ardors his brother.

He plays well with his toys on the ground, which I'm so grateful for.
These pictures aren't the greatest, I should have upped the shutter speed, his hands are obviously moving and blurry. But his face was just so sweet so I still like them. And I wanted recent pictures of him and these were taken today!
This IS Lucas, smiling his squinty eyed smile! sorry buddy you get it from your mom! :) oh how I love this guy!! chewing on his thumb because of that dang tooth that needs to pop out already!
don't you just want to squeeze him! I know I'm a mom.
LOVE this boy more then I can say, I fall in love with him more every day!
