Weekly Wednesday Update

22 Weeks...

I know I didn't do a post last week, We were busy out of town with family. I skipped week 21, the baby went from the size of a carrot last week to the size of a spaghetti squash. He is 11 inches long and almost 1 whole pound! I feel this little guy kick all the time and it reassures me that he is still in there! I haven't been sick this last week (HORAY!) and I love it but at the same time I am so used to being sick that when I am not it always makes me nervous. I'm finally at the point in my pregnancy where I finally feel good for about a month before it starts getting worse again! haha! I am going to try and enjoy this time. I also feel like I haven't gotten bigger in my stomach in a long time? Its so strange how HUGE I get from the night I conceive, I INSTANTLY look like I am 6 months pregnant, and now I am slowing down and looking more normal. so that's good. sorry, I thought Id take a picture today but I didn't get around to doing one. soon.

It's A...

BOY!

We are having a little baby boy! (it was very obvious even to the untrained eye), as soon as he pulled up the "male parts" on the screen I said "it's totally a boy!" We are excited, William and this new little bundle will only be 18 months apart so it will be fun to have two boys so close in age! It's going to be really helpful when it comes time for them to share a room, I didn't know how I was going to decorate their room if this baby ended up being a girl! Now I can get started on re-doing the nursery, YAY! The baby measured right on schedule and everything looked good and normal! Due date for baby number two is May 5th 2010 (Cinco De Mayo)
So now that we know the sex we will share what our (by OUR I really mean MY) two picks of boy names are (I realize this may not be the wisest thing to do, share what we want to name our baby, people have opinions especially MY family but we are strong enough to take it, I don't mind what people think, as long as I like it! haha) So the choices are... Terrance Alan or Lincoln Alan. We had Lincoln on our previous list when we were pregnant with William but we both agreed on William so early that we didn't need it. Terrance; Brandon suggested one day and I instantly liked it, and now I think he wishes he never suggested it in the first place. Our girl name will just have to wait until we have a girl, or if we have one. ;) (I hope I get to use it someday, cause I love it. even if my family HATES it!)

Kissing cousins

I have been wanting to put up some mistletoe in my house this year, well I guess we don't need it, William does it all on his own! Just a little bit of Christmas kisses!
He is planting a big one on his little cousin Bailee, (Brittany's Baby) She is 4 months old. It's weird to think When these little ones are older they will be in the same grade in school and probably have a lot of the same friends. (I'll have to save this picture to show them when their older!) I just love Bailee's face, her eyes are staring at William like what are you doing?! HAHA! I had a few more photos to choose from but this one is by far my favorite! love it! Merry Christmas!

Weekly Wednesday Update

19 weeks today...

So the baby is now the size of a large heirloom tomato. I am still sick, blah! nothing new in that department unfortunately. Things are going well, progressing normally (from what I can tell?) I feel the baby move and kick often. I am staying active (because I have a toddler at home) and hoping I don't gain as much weight this pregnancy as I did with William. So far so good, but I still have a long way to go! This next week I am sure is going to be the longest week ever. I can't wait until I can find out what I'm having! I hate not knowing what to call it, and I always let William love and kiss my belly, it would be so much easier to refer to "it" as his "little brother or little sister."
We watched the video of when William was born recently and it has gotten me even more excited to have this little one! I loved the labor and delivery part. It was just a big party in my room, full of family fun, laughter, and love! I'm not sure if we want as much of an audience this time or if we will even have the option of having anyone in there (with how strict they have become with the swine flu and all), non the less I am still very excited! little more than half way to go! haha!

That's all for this week, nothing too exciting... till next week..

Friday, December 4

the other morning..

The other day before church I wanted to snapped a few photos of William, He wasn't really cooperating because we had just woke him up to get ready for church and he was hungry and wanted his milk. (you would think we have early church but nope we have church at 11:00) This kid takes after his mom and likes to sleep in!! Lets just hope this other baby gets the memo and we can continue our ritual of sleeping in every morning! So this is the best I got, Sippy in hand, I was trying to capture his sweet tie but he wasn't letting me. haha
Mommy and William... so serious... (again he had just been woken up.)

Daddy and William.. can these two look any more alike!? Some days I really see it, and some pictures I laugh because they are SO the same! William is like a little clone of Brandon! especially in these pictures! It cracks me up! LOVE them both so I really can't complain!

random pics

I was looking through some pictures and came across these, I uploaded them last week, and I totally intended to post about each of them and then never did. I wanted to quickly add them on here so I didn't forget and before they became too old.
William giving one of his scrunched up faces, he does this some times it cracks us up. He does a version of a scrunched up face when he does his cat meow too.

This was William 2 Sundays ago all ready for church, haha.. yes we put a bow tie on him!.. I was skeptical at first but it grew on me, and now I love it!

Total G.Q. (besides the blush brush in his hand, haha! he totally loves that thing!)

and this is William with his little puppy dog. He sleeps with it every night and for nap time. It's really adorable. I tried for a while to get him to like something, something to comfort him, different cuddles and such, and he would like it for a day or two and then kinda forget about it. I have always had this kind of handy in his crib and recently he has attached to it for bed time. It cracks me up! I love that he has a little cuddle buddy, it is too cute! We give it to him tell him good night and he lays down with his little friend and goes to sleep! love it!

Weekly Wednesday Update

18 weeks today!...

According to Baby center dot com the baby is as big as a bell pepper, almost 7 oz, and 5 1/2 inches long from head to bottom. This week marked the transition stage from feeling a spontaneous kick every so often to the continuous movements and kicks I am now feeling! It's funny how it happens, for about two or three weeks you will fell a random kick or flutter and then one day it just changes and you start feeling everything. Sunday night I was like I totally feel the baby! Brandon has even gotten the privilege of feeling the little thing moving around. It's still the fun part when it doesn't hurt yet. William hurt me all the time when he would move and kick, I am going to enjoy these little movements for the time being cause I know they will get bigger and harder soon! Although the baby did kick my full bladder last night and I was like oh yeah I forgot about this part.. oh the joys...

I have been pretty nauseous this week, a lot less throwing up but more nauseous I don't know what's better? Some days I wish I would just throw up and get it over with. Oh well, I think It means it's getting better. I just feel bad when I have a bad day and I feel really crappy and William and I are still in our pajamas in the late after noon! :)

We have names for this baby, we still have our girl pick from when we were pregnant with William and I have two boy names that I am still deciding between. We will see what way we will have to go when we see what it is in two weeks! :)

I have gained a couple more pounds this week, It was inevitable being Thanksgiving weekend and all! I think I will just blame it on that! :) I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

William giving the baby loves and kisses... which he does often. :)

family pics

I have been wanting to take family pictures for a while now, we don't really have any updated ones of all three of us. (who decides to take them when your pregnant anyway!?) We took these the other day on thanksgiving at my parents house before we ate, My brother snapped a few for us. They are not professionally done by any means but I thought they turned out okay.

Thanks Jason.

Weekly Wednesday Update

17 Weeks today...

The baby this week is 5 ounces and around 5 inches long from head to bottom. I had a quick Dr. appointment on Monday, and we listened to the heart beat on the little Doppler. That's always fun to here. At my appointment we scheduled my ultrasound to find out the gender! It will be on Thursday December 17th at 8:45 A.M. I am very excited and can't wait to find out if William will be having a little brother or a little sister! I think it's a boy, but I was SO wrong with William I know I can't trust what I think! So we shall see in about 3 weeks! (it can't come soon enough!)

I have started to feel the baby move more this week. Yesterday while I was laying in bed I felt the baby bulging out and pressing out on my stomach, I pushed it back and it found a new place to rest. Every once in a while I will have my hand resting on my stomach and concentrating on the movements and it feels like something is under there. :)

I'm excited to feed the baby this weekend! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

12 months

I have been very over do on this post and have been meaning to do it for a while, better late then never...

William had his 12 month check up a week or two ago, and his stats were....

Height 30 1/2 inches 77%
Weight 21lbs 15.5 oz 28%
Head 47 cm. 70%

I was like seriously a half of an oz off from 22 even lbs... have some more milk.. haha..

William has been SO much fun, Hes Funny and Social, and Laughs when everyone else is laughing. He cracks me up. We love him so much! He is so Smart and picks up on things really Fast. He is Loving and Kind, and also a little bit of a Spitfire (I think he gets that part from his mom)

Whats been going on this past month...

*William Gives loves, Hugs and Kisses all the time to his daddy and Me. We can't get enough of it!

* He has started sleeping with this soft little TY puppy dog. Its so cute how he wants to hold it and love it.

* He give cuddles to his little cousins it's really sweet (the bad part is he does this by laying down on top of them. we need to work on that.)

*He talks a lot, Brandon and I were trying to count how many words he can say the other day and we got up to 15. (not counting all the animal sounds he does!) It's too cute when he says a word in perfect English. It's almost like did that just come out of you? haha

*He points to several animals on the page of a book and can say its name and sound. My newest favorite he does is a cat. It is SO freakin funny to see his face when he does a cat. He did it the other day and Brydee my niece was like that's a sad cat. He does the saddest little cat meow and squints his eyes when he does it? Don't know why, but its adorable!

*He signs "eat" all the time! every time he wants something to eat or drink he does the "eat" sign. It's nice that he can communicate that to me but at the same time it breaks my heart when he does it and I don't have food to give him like when were driving in the car and he does it in his car seat. It's so cute how well he does it. He some times does the sign for "more" but not very often, He usually just says "more!"

*He walks SO well, He runs, he dances, he can even walk backwards.

*He is sleeping and going to sleep really well! He has been doing it for over a month now but its still so nice to finally have him trained to lay down and go to sleep with out any protest.

*He is still a very good eater. He takes after his parents and is not picky at all, he eats almost anything, spicy, sour, you name it, he'll eat it. He drinks cows milk (has been for over a month) and I like to put strawberry or chocolate syrup in it for him. :)

* He is still kind of a bully when he plays with other babies his age or a little younger. I think this is because of all his cousins he plays with that are older then him? He will push them over, or not want them to touch something. (I need to teach him to do better but I'm not sure if it's working?)
Here is just a random picture of William I took the other day out front of our house. He loves being out side. (It's not the best quality but it's what I have? it looks like I haven't been taking very many pictures lately.)

Weekly Wednesday Update

Well My little avocado (that's the size of the baby at 16 weeks) is still making me throw up once to twice a day! NOT so fun. I am definitely getting bigger, stretching, and poking out more (if that was possible at how early I am.) If I were to have an ultrasound now we would probably be able to tell if it was a girl or boy. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my doctor isn't busy at my appointment on Monday and he just does another ultrasound and tells me! haha! wouldn't that be fun! I am not scheduled to have an ultrasound so I probably wont find out until the standard 20 weeks that my Doctors office does. :(

Sorry no pic this week, maybe next week.

Saturday, November 14

the other night...

We went on a bike ride the other night with Ben, Ashton and Braden. I am totally bummed I didn't pull out my camera until after we were done with the bike ride, It was pretty comical to see us all on the bikes, William was in a bike trailor and Braden was in a child seat on a bike. Not to mention I was riding mine and Brandon's Tandem bike with only one rider! :) We will have to go again sometime so I can get some pictures!
After wards we let the boys sit in the truck and play out side (at my parents house) for a while.

We also let Braden have a turn in the drivers seat
Brandon even pushed them around the yard a little, they thought it was fun.
William was way chill and kicked back the whole time he was getting pushed around, it was cracking me up.

After all that we came home and got the boys ready for bed. They were dirty from playing out side, So we gave them a bath.
Braden borrowed some of Williams clothes, so I put them in something matching :)

This is William giving Braden loves...
Braden DID NOT like it!

My son also likes to wrestle, he wrestles with his daddy, and his boy cousins (which are all older then him) and then when he does it to Braden he doesn't understand why he cries? Poor Braden! I'll give him a few months and they'll be pretty evenly matched I'm sure! It doesn't help that William walks and Braden crawls. Braden is 6 weeks younger then William.

William's 1st Birthday Party

It's my Birthday! YAY I'm finally one years old!
opening a present from Sarah and Steve-o
This is what he looked like most of the night. He got a diaper change and his pants never made it back on him? and he had a balloon tied to him. His favorite part of his birthday had to be the balloons. He loves them!
Friend Braden made an appearance among other guests
William getting sung to by his friends and family, patiently awaiting his cup cake.
Digging right in!
He didn't eat much of his cup cake because he had already eaten quite a bit, but he sure had a good taste of it!
Thanks for all who came and supported William turning ONE!

Weekly Wednesday Update

15 weeks today...

I still have been pretty sick this week, my mornings still consist of running to the bathroom and throwing up. But I am pretty good most of the day. Hopefully it gets better here soon. This week I have gotten bigger, I can see it and feel it. I also gained my first couple pounds. I told you I don't gain anything for the first trimester or so and then I gain it all in like a month! so hopefully this isn't the beginning of a rapid weight gain. It's probably due to the Halloween candy and the fact that I am started to crave more things. Today was the second time I craved a Cafe Rio pork salad. like CRAVED it, like I HAD to have it! I wanted it so bad I fought the lunch rush with a sleeping William in my arms, by my self to get it! :) I never had cravings with William, I was just happy if ANYTHING sounded good with his pregnancy, this pregnancy I have felt better and there for I EAT! :)

I probably should have choose better clothes for this weeks picture other then baggy sweat bottoms, (not so flattering!) and the fact that I'm in all black doesn't help, you can't tell where my arm ends and my body begins, there for making me bigger.oh well.. :)

Thursday, November 5

one year!

Where has the time gone!?

Happy Birthday son, I love you more than life!

Wednesday, November 4

sunday morning

I couldn't resist snapping a few photos Sunday morning before church. William was wearing a white shirt and tie! He just needed a little missionary tag to finish the outfit! haha.. gotta love little boy stuff! He looked so grown up it was killing me! He is so funny now when we ask him to say cheese he does this funny smile that makes him look even more like his daddy!! (the top pic)LOVE HIM!

Weekly Wednesday Update

14 weeks today...
Right when I thought I was starting to feel better... This week I have felt pretty nauseous. Every morning I run to the bathroom in hopes I make it there in time!
One good thing this week was I had a Dr. appointment. It was supposed to be a normal OB visit but my doctor was nice and did an ultra sound to see how things were going. Baby was moving around and kicking! The baby had two arms, two hands, two legs, and a heart beat. (all good things) We didn't get a good picture because it was moving around so much! But it definitely settled some doubts when I saw that little thing moving around in there! It was good to see! My next appointment will be the Monday before thanksgiving.
I hate not knowing what I'm having. I usually find my self referring to the baby as a "he" because I hate saying "it". When I know what we are having it's so much nicer to say "son" or "him" or call him by name. But it seems like I still have forever until I find out what I'm having! oh well, the anticipation will make it that much better! :)

William's 1st Halloween

William's First Halloween!
Our first Trick or Treating of the year started at Skywest. With My Brother working their, one of my sisters working their, and the fact that I used to work for them we go their every year to trick or treat. The kids always have so much fun, and make out with a loot of candy! I was so excited to finally have a child to bring their instead of just helping out all the nieces and nephews.
After Sky West I let William indulge in a few of his treats! Needless to say he liked that part!
I was flying solo all weekend because Brandon has been sick with the flu. He was bummed he couldn't be apart of Williams first Halloween but I took pictures to show him. (and yes he had just had chili and I didn't really clean him up very well so in all his pictures he has a dirty face! oh well :)
Then on Halloween I met up with Ashton and her family (more like invited my self over) and we took out our little ones together.

This was when we were out trick or treating, With Trick or Treat bag in hand! haha... I loved that he would hold it for me!
My little pirate! It was so much fun, He was a trooper all night, happy and content and awake until way late. We went trick or treating, visited friends and made an appearance at my sisters Halloween party and the whole time he was so good! I can't wait for next year! :)
